From September 20 to 27, 2023, a Tajikistan delegation led by Director General of the Government Project Management Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat of the Republic of Tajikistan made a special visit to China to select furniture, lanterns and other materials and equipment for the Tajikistan Parliament Building and the Government Office Building projects. Liu Jingxian, general manager of Yanjian International, and other relevant personnel accompanied the delegation. 

During the visit to China, the Tajik delegation made a field trip to some furniture factories and exhibition halls in Beijing and discussed and exchanged views on the furniture plans of the two mentioned projects. On the afternoon of September 22, the Tajik delegation met with Zeng Huacheng, deputy director general of the Agency for International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce of China. The two sides held in-depth exchanges and discussions on how to facilitate the smooth implementation of follow-up work on the two projects.

The Tajikistan delegation expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for honoring its promises and commitments and selfless assistance, highly applauded the pragmatism and efficiency of the Chinese contractors, and expressed its willingness to work hand in hand with the Chinese side to actively advance the early completion of the two projects. The Tajik delegation later went to Zhongshan, Foshan and other places in Guangdong province to inspect crystal lamps and furniture cities.
