On September 19, 2023, the First China International Contracting Industry Development Assembly and the 10th Shandong-Central Enterprises Economic and Trade Cooperation and Matchmaking meeting were held by China International Contractors Association, Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and Weihai Municipal Government in Weihai. More than 400 representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and other government departments, financial institutions such as the Export-Import Bank of China, China-Africa Development Fund and China Construction Bank, as well as leading enterprises in the construction industry, industry chain related enterprises and professional service organizations attended the conference. Mr. Han Chunlei, Deputy General Manager of Yanjian International, attended the conference on behalf of Yanjian Group.

In the opening speech session, Zhang Xincheng, deputy director of Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, Liu Minqiang, first-class inspector of the Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Fang Qiuchen, president of the China International Contractors Association, and Deng Yong, vice mayor of Weihai Municipal People's Government, delivered speeches respectively. During the meeting, the China International Contractors Association held the awarding ceremony for the top enterprises (81) on the list of ENR's 250 largest international contractors in China in 2023, and Mr. Fang Qiuchen, President of the China International Contractors Association, and Mr. Xin Xiuming, Vice President of the Contractors' Association, awarded the plaques to the top enterprises together. Mr. Han Chunlei, Deputy General Manager of the International Company, received the award on behalf of Yanjian Group.
