Pio Tikoduadua Visits New Nakasi Police Station Contracted by Yanjian

On February 28, 2022, the Minister of Home Affairs, Defense and Immigration of the new government of Fiji Pio Tikoduadua together with officials from the Ministry of Defense, accompanied by Deputy General Manager of Yanjian International Li Peng and relevant project leaders, visited the project of the new Nakasi Police Station contracted by Yanjian.


Pio Tikoduadua and his party visited the construction site and took a closer look at the construction progress, construction techniques and solar panel power supply. Li Peng and project technicians answered the questions.


After the visit, Pio Tikoduadua and his party got a further insight into the project of the new Nakasi Police Station and affirmed the quality. Li Peng said the project department will stand at the last post and do a good job in site commissioning to facilitate the smooth completion and acceptance of the project. The works on the new Nakasi police station started on 29 July 2019 and is expected to be completed by 28 April 2023.
