On April 22, 2023, a delegation of six people, including Director of the Latin American Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Cai Wei, Chinese Ambassador to El Salvador Zhang Yanhui and Commercial Counselor Yao Ming, visited the Project of China-Aided Salvador National Library project undertaken by Yanjian Group. Deputy General Manager of Yanjian International Pan Yong, Technical Advisor Wang Shumin, Project Management Team Leader Ye Peng, and Technical Team Leader Yang Junguang accompanied them on site.

During the inspection, Director Cai Wei and his team were given a detailed briefing on the current progress of the project and viewed the project design sketches. Deputy General Manager Pan Yong briefed Director Cai and his team in detail on the key and difficult work in the construction of the project, and introduced sprinkler fire protection and intelligence systems for the later stages of the refined decoration.

After carefully listening to the report, Cai gave important instructions: The project is the first housing construction project in which China has assisted El Salvador. Upon completion, it will be an important symbol of friendly cooperation between the two countries. The project team must perform well in quality and safety control during the catch-up period and look forward to the success of all project personnel upon the completion of the project. Ambassador Zhang directed that the current progress of the project is satisfactory and the project team should also communicate well with foreign parties to ensure the project is completed on schedule, pay attention to local media public opinion and carry out positive publicity.
