At local time of August 9, 2019, 6 pm, Mozambican Cultural Minister Silva Armando Dunduro , Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique Su Jian, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of Chinese Embassy Liu Xiaoguang, Vice President of Mondlane University Armindo James, a total of more than 30 people visited the sites of China-Aided Mozambique-China Culture Center and Mozambique Confucius Institute and Media Art School Teaching Building and looked into the construction works of 1500 seats theater of Mozambique-China Culture Center and finishing works of Confucius Institute. Managerial personnel and technical personnel of the two projects accompanied the inspection team.

The inspection team held a symposium with the technical team of Mozambique-China Culture Center. Mozambican Culture Minister Silva Armando Dunduro gave warm greetings to the staff of the technical team, he said that Mozambique-China Culture Center is an important infrastructure project and a witness of the friendship between the people of Mozambique and China, in order to ensure the Culture Center to be taken into use smoothly, Mozambican Culture Ministry is planning and preparing to set up operation management and maintenance related measures actively.

Mozambican Cultural Minister Silva Armando Dunduro and Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique Su Jian held a press conference jointly right after the symposium, which released that a delegation of the Culture Ministry of Mozambique will visit China to participate the 70 anniversary celebration of the People’s Republic of China from August 17-22.
