Officials of Ministry of Commerce Inspected Yanjian Contracted China-aided Confucius Institute Projects in Mozambique

On May 14,2018local timeDeputy Director of the Agency for International Economic Cooperation of China Zeng Huacheng, Deputy Commissioner of Chief-Engineer Office Yu Weihua and Deputy Commissioner of Southern and Eastern Africa Office Xu Lu in accompany with General Manager of Yanjian International Liu Jingxian inspected the project of China-aided  Institute and Media&Arts College Building Constructed by Yanjian in Mozambique.


After the inspection, technical team of the project introduced in detail of the project overviewconstruction quality and progress and safety management and so on. Deputy Director Zeng was satisfied with the groundbreaking ceremony and gave credit for work by the group for the ceremony successfully holding. He also discussed the difficulties encountered during the project with the technical workgroup and proposed eight requirements against the aid projects:


The first is to accurately and comprehensively understand the aid work and correctly grasp the orientation of the aid work--the foreign aid work is first and foremost a serious political task, and it is also a complex technical work. Second, there shall be a profound understanding of the challenges for aid work which is to complete the project once. The project must stand the test of time. Third, aid work must always adhere to high standards and strict requirements-once completed to be a success. Fourth is to strictly follow the system and contract management, strengthen the management of the construction process; Fifth, the correct treatment of design changes; Sixth, strengthen the aid construction project publicity work; Seventh, aid work has special political and professional requirements, and it is necessary to strengthen party building work. Eighthly, safety production and civilized construction are highly valued.
